I Call...LIES!

I said this in a post recently ( The Conversation You Wished We Had ), the fear of not listening to God is far greater than FOMO!

I am bold, not going to sugar coat that. I can be reckless. I surprise myself and those around me. Though, I will always exhibit the boldness, strength, authority, and power that Jesus fought so hard to give me. If it comes down to sitting back and being timid when I know something isn't correct or speaking up even when my voice is shaking, I will always choose the latter.

Stop Playing the Victim Card

It's over. You and I cannot play the victim when tragedy hits. Even if 90% of the problem falls on the other person, 10% is still on you. You and I are no victims.

24 years of living on this earth, I will tell you that this victim mentality stumps your growth, creates chaos, and destroys you from within. It's toxic and we can't play this divisive game any longer.

Gossiping has got to go! You and I need to develop an allergic reaction towards bitter and negative speech, prideful acts, and the blame game. We are children of God. We don't get to act like this anymore.

It didn't work for Adam and Eve, did you really think it would work for you?

The Evidence; It's Unfinished

It's not why we're going through but who we're going through with and what He's teaching us. He is with us in the hurricane and we couldn't be taken out; we persevere because He is with us.

How do you not know that the Creator of everything is real? The evidence is in the fact that you didn't die from your battle wounds. Those scars could've taken you out, but they didn't. That resiliency and drive to keep on running the race of life are from God.

The evidence is in the fact that you are alive and still kicking! He's not done with you because you are about to surprise yourself with the level of power, authority, love, and gumption (oh yes, I used that word) you have within you. Oh my dear, how magnificent you are and the best part…it's unfinished.

The Stories You Choose to Share

There is a sense of confidence that is developed when one chooses to take ownership for what has happened in their life. We must use those moments to make our quilt of life as beautiful as possible. But this quilt cannot be produced unless we allow ourselves to look dead on at what has happened, how it made us feel, what lessons were meant to be learned from them, and in what ways will we be using the lessons acquired by the experience.

There is a price you'll pay to tell your story your way. But my dear, it is worth it! Your liberation and freedom are worth it all. There is a level of respect and love that you owe to yourself and it requires that you share the story that God has placed within you.

Embrace that you survived when what you went through was meant to kill you (emotionally, psychologically, or/and physically). Tell your story.

Flex That Spiritual Confidence

You are who He says you are. You have what He says you have. You will accomplish what He's predestined for you to achieve through Him.

This whole self-love thing starts, continues, and finishes with God.

You are a child of God. Your identity, power, and destiny are all found in Him. You are his sheep. The only way you understand how strong you are, how beautiful you are, who you are, and what your purpose in life may be is by diving into who God is. By doing so, you are able to build your spiritual muscles so that when the storms come (which as long as you live it shall), all you've got to do is flex that spiritual confidence your father gave you (see what I did there. Man can I turn into a Jesus dork. It's awesome!)
