Fix Your Face, It's Monday!

Yes 🙌🏾!! Who else is walking into this week with this smile on? It's okay, I totally get it if your not either, heck I was dreading it but then I remembered what Mondays symbolize: new week filled with awesome adventures! It's difficult to be your own sunshine on Mondays because who wants the weekend to be over? But lately I've become more excited to for the new week because I know that God got new plans in store for me. New lessons, new experiences, and possibly new people!

I know, I know, I know! I sound pretty cheesey right now. I would be rolling my eyes right now if someone was telling me to turn my Monday into my Funday, but I serious. It's all in our heads and our attitudes.

However as I was reading this morning, God reminded me that in everyday, I'm to ask him what he wants me to do. I'm to ask him what he's trying to teach me and to not complain. The Lord loves us so much that he personally designed each day as a day to encourage us in love, discipline us in truth, and edcuate us in his power and Spirit.

I don't know about you but if God was giving a TED Talk about love, discipline, power and His Almighty Spirit, I would be trying to get a ticket faster than I was trying to get an invite to the royal wedding!

God's TED Talks are each day and Mondays are not excluded. Fix your attitude and your face 😏because you wouldn't get your lesson or anything out of God's TED Talk today if you're in the old Monday funk!

Now let do this week right! Mondays...come at us🤜🏾🤛🏾!

Readings

Romans 12:2

"Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Proverbs 24:19,26

"Listen, my son, and be wise; keep your mind on the right course. My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways."

Ecclesiastes 3

John 12:20-36

" 'Now some Greeks were among those who went up to worship at the festival. So they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.” Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. Jesus replied to them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit. The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. “Now my soul is troubled. What should I say — Father, save me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus responded, “This voice came, not for me, but for you.' "
