Pho For The Morning After

Now despite this title, if I could pay for everyone to have pho with me then y'all know I definitely would. Since I can’t take everyone on a pho date, let me tell about some of my favorite pho places I’ve tried this year.

I believe this was late spring or early summer when I tried out Pho Anh Dao. Initially, I thought that I wouldn’t like it because of the location. Most of my favorite pho restaurants tend to me around Korea Town neighborhoods on the outskirts of D.C. However, location doesn’t mean anything. I would probably rank this as my #3 favorite pho restaurant because though the atmosphere is intimate and simple, I actually love the combination of the flavor of the broth and the portion.

One of the most difficult thing that either makes or breaks pho for me is the flavor (which is a must), the portion ratio (especially when I request for a dish that is supposed to be load with meat), the options of sauces, and types of sauced that are available. After evaluating all of that, I think that this is a wonderful place to add to your stops when you’re in Adams Morgan, especially an eventful night 😏.

REVIEW*:

Customer Service: ⭐⭐⭐ (maybe it was the times that I went but though there weren’t many people in the restaurant, the wait was longer than typical)

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ( I think I already explained this much but you must check out!)

Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (the price is a little bit more than I typically pay for pho but not ridiculous)

Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (this scoring will make sense once I explain why my #1 pho restaurant is the best…bare with me until then)

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
